I
love tables. Up until this week's lesson, coding a table seemed more
difficult and I usually kept mine as simple, blocky things. I think
that I will be more adventurous, with the way Dreamweaver MX can combine
cells and rows, and I'm anxious to get started. Previously, when hand-coding,
I found the "colspan" attribute to be a little vague, but
it seems so to easy to use in Dreamweaver MX. I like the way you can
slide the divider as you need to. I'm using a one-row, two-column table
on this page, with a spacer gif to keep the text away from my border
image. I really like how Dreamweaver merges the cells and rows, without
me having to strain my brain. Well not too much, anyway.

Collage of Images for Photoshop |
| In
a previous LVS Photoshop class, I made an original collage using
three separate images. |

This
photo of "Mountain Pinks" was taken by a friend, in
her garden. I used it with an artistic watercolor filter for
the background of my composite image.

I liked this black and white photo that I found in a dance magazine,
so I selected and separated the figure from the background.
Can you believe this pose?

I
am developing a collection of winged things at home, and my
idea for this image called for some wings. I liked the ones
that belonged to this moth that I found in a National Geographic
magazine. Each dancer's wing is on a separate layer, with reduced
opacity. The moths above them are each on separate layers with
different blending modes.

This
is my week three page but who knows, it's only Saturday and there may
be more to come!
