Filter Frenzy ll

Week 3

There was a lot to accomplish this week and I think I just managed the minimum...let's say it was a combination of goofing off on the instant messenger and some difficulty getting good results from PSP and KPT5 in certain areas. Anyway, without further ado, here is my assignment page for this week, just a little of everything.

Copying and Pasting Gradients

The first row shows my original gradients, the second row is the altered version after copying and pasting sections into other selected areas. I liked the FraxPlorer filter a lot. This was my first chance to play with these gorgeous shapes.

KPT5 Shapeshifter

The first row contains the standard presets, the second row contains my presets.

And then, we had the traffic light, the car image, and the teddybear to do. I just have one example of each to show because of the various excuses outlined above.

my traffic light

I had a bit of trouble adjusting the colors to look bright or dark. This is supposed to be the version with the green light on.

my car and fuzzy dice

My little car gave me a bit of a problem. I tried to use one of my own presets, but kept getting an error message and then KPT would close down. I ended up using the Filter Frenzy one called purple passion, because it worked just fine. I don't know what happened there, but I pressed on with what you see here. The best thing about it is that it's done.

The fuzzy dice would look better if they were behind the glass instead of in front of it, but I'm not going to be too picky.

my teddy bear!

When I got to the Fiber Optix filter, I ended up spending a couple days here as well. Instead of multiple teddies for my page, I have just one very special teddybear, all dolled up with preset shapes from my PSP program. I decided to go for a lighthearted approach when I realized he would be The One.

See you next week!

And just for the fun of it, I gave this innocent photo subject a new head of hair with Fiber Optix, and a facelift with Mediachance CleanskinFX. I'm not sure if I will tell him that I posted this to my site.
