Week One
I found a couple of old photos from the late '60's and early 70's that had turned strange colors or faded badly. Fireworks did a pretty good job in correcting the colors and bringing out the detail I thought was lost.
The print from the 70's has actually turned this strange orange color.
I'm still not quite happy with it, but it is at least a more normal tone.
I thought this photo from 1966 was a lost cause.
All I did was click "Auto Levels." What an improvement!
Just the vignette tchnique on a favorite photo.
Another vignette of a favorite kid.
This week was fun, and I had no idea that Fireworks could do this much to correct damaged photos. I was dying to use other filters on these photos but just used the levels and color adjustments in Fireworks. Great lesson and I'm looking forward to trying these on other photos soon.
